Well, the first day of 2009 is winding down. We stayed up far too late last night and I was feeling a little hungover this morning (Thanks Julie!) but we had so much fun last night it was worth it. I worked today and am glad to be home with my kids. They have been gone visiting family since last Sunday and I missed them so much. On the flip side it was oddly liberating to be childless for a week. We went out for our anniversary on Monday. We left the house at 3pm with no particular destination in mind. We found ourselves having dinner at The Kona Grill later that evening. The sushi was fabulous. I learned a lot about sushi from our waitress. She was great. It was a very pleasant evening.
